The Janome 740DC gives you computerised sewing with 40 pre-programmed stitches, including 3 different fully automatic one step buttonholes and elongation function The LCD display makes it easy to see which stitch you've chosen as well as the stitch width and length, both stitch width and stitch length are fully adjustable. A jam-proof, magnetic, top load rotary hook ensures excellent stitch quality. The hook cover plate opens at the touch of a button, and the extra needle penetration power of the 740DC lets you sew across heavier fabrics & multiple layers with ease. Adjustable foot pressure means you can fine tune the feeding to suit your fabric, ideal for quilting etc. The accessory box also detaches for free-arm sewing, perfect for turning up jeans and shortening sleeves. This machine also features a seven piece feed mechanism, a drop feed facility, automatic needle threader, a slide speed control and comes complete with a hard cover.
